How to use plastic dressing?
The application of plastic dressing is relatively simple. Before starting detailing work, we should equip ourselves with: microfiber cloths.
We start by mixing the preparation well. After shaking vigorously a few times, the dressing should be ready to use. Then we apply it to a specific element. We make sure to thoroughly cover the plastic surface. Once we have applied the preparation to the plastic, we spread it evenly with a microfiber cloth. We collect any excess agent.
We leave the cabin to dry and wait for the effect. Most often, it is enough to apply one layer of plastic dressing. If a given fragment is clearly faded and stands out from the rest, we can apply the dressing again.
This type of preparation can also be used for external plastics, such as door strips or bumpers. The procedure is similar to the one we follow when cleaning the interior of the car. In this case, car cosmetics will consist in washing the body, including removing deeper dirt, e.g. insect remnants. After tidying up the body, apply the dressing.
Moreover, it is also available tire dressing. It preserves tires and allows you to obtain the so-called wet tire effect.
Cockpit dressing is a good way to regenerate plastics in an older car and protect plastic elements in a new car. It is worth using interior dressing at regular intervals, for example every three months, during major interior maintenance works.
